55 years D-DAY 1999 in Normandy

Regina and I at the coastal gun battery near Longues-sur-Mer. These bunkers are the only ones at the Normandy coast, which still have their original guns.
On the beach at Arromanches. At the horizon on sea are the remains of the artificial harbour "Mulberry B".

At first I wanted to write my own report about our journey to France. But when I read the report written by Douglas Greville from Australia, whom we met there, I decided not to write another report, just link to Doug's report.

Douglas Greville's report about the D-DAY event 1999
